5 Fitness Gurus to Get into On Youtube

5 Fitness Gurus to Get into On Youtube

Physical fitness is important, especially for those of us ladies that are often on the road or away from home. I hate the gym but for personal health reasons must try to at least pretend that I care about my physical fitness. I first started getting into working out about five years ago when I was living in South Korea. It was easy at first as there was a small gym on the premises where I lived. While working out in such a controlled environment certainly got the job done, I’m a gym-rat by no means and the monotony of using machines everyday never really appealed to me.

It wasn’t long before I began alternating gym days with morning or evening workout sessions in my bedroom. I found myself much more motivated to get up and exercise if I just had to roll out of bed to do so. Plus, with the abundance of exercise coaches online, on youtube, there was never a shortage of options for me to choose from. Over the years I’ve come across a few women whose workouts I go back to again and again. Here are five of my favorite youtube fitness gurus.

Keaira Lashae: Superhero Fitness TV

This self-proclaimed superhero of fitness is a certified personal trainer who specializes in fun, but intense and effective dance-based workouts. A fan of HIIT and Tabata workouts, Lashae’s arsenal of videos are danceable and fun, and her channel also features a wide variety of short but effective workouts that target specific areas on the body. From time-to-time she also challenges viewers to complete her curated monthly fitness challenges, which are designed to help jump start your metabolism and get you into shape in record time.

Blogilates by Cassey Ho

This certified group fitness instructor has taken her love of Pilates and dance to the next level with her specialized brand of fitness, Pop Pilates. Her website Blogilates features printable, custom-made workout calendars, tutorials, recipe ideas, workout challenges, and more.

Koboko fitness

This home fitness channel features some of the best workouts for women starting out on their fitness journey on the web. With new videos uploaded on Wednesday and Sunday, getting into shape with Koboko is easy. These exercises require no added equipment, instead you rely on your own bodyweight. Most videos feature a mini-tutorial at the beginning, giving viewers a step-by-step guide to each move, along with a modified version to do as well, before the real exercise begins. A great choice for a novice, most of these videos target different body parts: arms, legs, backside, and abs in ten minutes or less.

Tiffany Rothe Workouts

Tiffany Rothe specializes in fun and effective ten-minute workout routines that she often conducts in both English and Spanish. Low-impact, short, but effective, Rothe’s fitness style is fun and lighthearted making it easy to mix and match videos together in a way that doesn’t make working out feel like a chore. Head over to her personal website for a free workout schedule along with membership opportunities to her private fitness tribe.
